Now here’s a new take on exotic swimwear – Aguaclara is an innovative company which has its HQ in Peru, South America. Meaning “Clear Water” in Spanish, we think the brand name is dead on. Who in their right mind wouldn’t want these cool designs with a Latino twist on display at all times?
The Aguaclara mission statement is straight to the point; “Simply to make you look fantastic on the beach”. Their swimwear certainly fulfils this mission as they have become the ‘must have’ brand for this summer. Everyone loves a little bit of South American styling in their beach wardrobe, and with it’s strong ranges of Brazilian cut beachwear this label is most definately offering a little bit of exotic poolside styling to UK fans.
The UK label is an offshoot of the parent company Applauzi. It has been run under its watchful eye for the past 5 years, establishing itself as one of the top beachwear brands in the UK and Europe.
Although becoming increasingly seen on the beaches of Europe this is far from being the home of Aguaclara beachwear. The South American style of collections is clear, and so it should be with all of the garments manufactured in Peru. Influences go much deeper than this though. Aguaclara draws upon the colours and style of the Amazon, Andes and the Ocean; producing some truly worthy summer designs.
Anyone who likes their summer swim fashion a little more on the wild side should try out this brand, it’s got true Latino flair and hot blooded style. A definate winner for us!
